2 AUGUST 2027 – ONE OF THE LONGEST TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSES OF THE CENTURY
One of the longest total solar eclipses of the century will cross Southern Spain, North Africa and the Middle East.
With Southern Spain and Morocco among the world’s prime viewing destinations and totality exceeding six minutes at its maximum in Egypt, the eclipse is expected to attract significant international attention and eclipse tourism.
For destinations, tourism businesses, retailers and event organisers, planning starts long before eclipse day.
EclipSpex solar viewing glasses meet the highest standards for safe direct observation of the Sun.
More than eye protection. EclipSpex can be custom designed for your brand, creating a memorable eclipse experience for your customers, guests or visitors.
We provide certified eclipse glasses for every scale.
Choose from standard, retail ready and fully custom branded designs.
A total solar eclipse is an unforgettable experience – but looking directly at the Sun without appropriate eye protection can cause permanent eye damage.
Ordinary sunglasses are not sufficient.
EclipSpex solar viewing glasses are designed specifically for direct solar observation and certified to the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard.
Whether you’re supplying one destination or an entire organisation, safety should always come first.
If you’re responsible for retail, procurement, tourism, guest experience, events, partnerships or public engagement, we’d love to hear what you’re planning.
From standard bulk supply to bespoke branded campaigns and large-scale international requirements, talk to us early about your 2027 eclipse plans.
2nd August 2027 will arrive faster than you think.
The 12 August 2026 total solar eclipse brought people together across the UK and Europe – and Promo Optics was proud to help businesses, travel and tourism partners, organisations and communities experience it safely.
As eclipse day approached, demand for certified glasses accelerated dramatically – reinforcing just how important early preparation and dependable supply can be.
We’re taking that experience into 2027, helping organisations plan earlier, think bigger and prepare for one of the century’s most remarkable eclipses.
